Governed chat

Chat with your own Claude — governed. Connect your Claude subscription or an API key, and every message then runs through TaskGate's policy and audit, on your own plan.

Connect your model

Open Connect in the console and paste your token under Paste your token.

Claude subscription (recommended)

On a computer signed into your Claude plan, run:

claude setup-token

and paste the sk-ant-oat… token it prints.

API key

• Anthropic: console.anthropic.com → API keys (sk-ant-…).
• OpenAI: platform.openai.com → API keys (sk-…).

Your connected models are listed on the same page, where you can remove them.

Chat

Open Chat to talk to your model. Each message goes through the TaskGate model gateway, which:

• checks that you may use the model route,
• screens the input and the output,
• routes to an eligible provider — within the regions and data classifications the route allows,
• applies rate limits and reserves the cost against your budgets,
• records every call: who made it, the model requested and served, tokens, cost, screening findings and latency.

For developers

The model gateway exposes a chat-completions endpoint for agents and users of your organisation. Each call runs through the same gateway pipeline as chat.
